Our top mission priority is the launch of the COTA Childhood Obesity Treatment Network – beginning with a comprehensive list of available resources nationwide for the management of childhood obesity.

COTA Network Values To promote comprehensive, credentialed treatment of childhood obesity, the COTA Network will list programs, practitioners and experts which:
Have medical, behavioral science, or other health-related credentials;
Focus on childhood (or childhood and adult) overweight & obesity;
Focus on treatment as well as prevention; and
Focus on sustainable long-term weight management, use evidence-based methods & track outcomes.
As it grows, the COTA Treatment Network will include, but not be limited to:
- A searchable directory of treatment centers and resources nationwide
- Resources for professionals (guidelines and recommendations)
- Educational resources for patients and families
- Tools to facilitate communications amongst professionals and families in need
